What Does Phase Switch On Subwoofer Do Phase Switch?

Phase switch? - what does phase switch on subwoofer do

I have a subwoofer cheap Sony. What makes the command phase? I hear no difference, really, but I do not know who would listen.

Because the subwoofer should meet every surround-sound system that is allowing the phase control law. When the subwoofer is in phase with the other speakers in the bass sound becomes weaker. When the subwoofer is in the phase of low notes sound louder. You play a DVD with sound seriously and try to push the button stage, during playback. An adjustment should sound better than the other.

Phase switch for the subwoofer and speakers are in phase with each other.
In other words, the speakers during playback and output, in phase, and together, even in the same period or phase.
To move from the first phase, while the other moves in or out of phase.
